Octopus steals my video camera and swims... while trying to get video of a wild octopus, it suddenly dashed towards me and rips my shiny new camera from out of my hands, then swims off, all while the camera is recording! he swam away very quickly like a naughty shoplifter. after a 5 minute chase, I placed my speargun underneath him and he quickly and curiously grabbed hold of the gun as well, giving me enough time to reach in and grab the camera from out of his mouth. A cold cloudy morning on the east darlingharbour foreshore Seth set the XR 1200 roaring down track to hit the launch ramp with a beautiful Harley roar only to find himself and the mighty XR overshoot landing ramp slightly and come ballslapping back to earth 183.7 feet down the track. Twenty-five years after the original recording, history was made once again on Monday night (Feb. 1) as over 75 stars gathered to record a contemporary remake of We Are the World at Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood. Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie, the producer and co-writer of the iconic 1985 philanthropic anthem, teamed with Wyclef Jean, producer RedOne, and producer-musical director Rickey Minor for the new version called We Are the World 25 for Haiti, benefitting Haitian earthquake relief efforts. The recording session took place in the same studio as the original song written by Richie and Michael Jackson, and featured a diverse lineup including Lil Wayne (redoing Bob Dylans verse), Kanye West, Jennifer Hudson, Trey Songz, Drake, Barbra Streisand, Toni Braxton, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Pink, Jamie Foxx, T-Pain, Keri Hilson, Brandy, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, Busta Rhymes, Nicole Scherzinger, Akon, Tony Bennett, Carlos Santana, and many others. After I did Bob Dylans part, it kinda hit me that I guess this is something way more important than I couldve ever imagined, Wayne told reporters, while responding Hell no! when asked if his version was better than Dylans. Singer Josh Groban also shared his experience. Apparently after the sixth take, the pyrotechnics went horribly wrong and Michaels hair caught fire, whilst thousands of his fans watched in horror. And according to Entertainment Weekly, Jackson continued to dance for a few seconds, oblivious to what had just happened. It was reported though, that Pepsi did later settle with Michael Jackson for $1.5 million, which Michael donated to the burns unit at Brotman Medical Center. Michael apparently received second and third degree burns to his scalp, according to usmagazine.com, who have reportedly posted previously unseen footage of the terrible accident on their website. Its maybe not the way Michaels fans want to remember him. |
